In this 1 minute video, I’m going to give you 3 easy tips to get more paying customers and grow your contracting business.

Always answer the phone.

When you don’t answer the phone, you miss out on opportunities. People don’t like leaving voicemails, especially if it’s urgent they’ll just go to the next contractor. If you’re too busy to answer, at least call people back by the next morning.

Always provide estimates quickly.

Get your estimates done within 2 to 3 days and include the information that you promised. Even if your price is higher than other contractors, if you provide clear estimates quickly, you will be more likely to win contracts.

Always be able to do the work soon. 

You can charge more if you can do the work soon, or less to do it later. If you have a full schedule for several weeks or months, and you’re turning down new customers, consider raising your prices.
